Stephanie Quarles, EdD

Board of Directors

Dr. Stephanie Quarles is a consultant and academic focused on increasing access and removing barriers to employment and education for individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum — with a special emphasis and passion for partnering with corporations to develop inclusive work programs for young adults entering the workforce, including public education readiness.

After 20+years in the corporate business world, Dr. Quarles combined her passion for helping businesses and individuals through her consultancy work advising companies, organizations and schools on how to best support and empower young adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder transition from school to employment. And as Program Director for the Nepperhan Community Center for nine years, she managed all aspects of program delivery and impact for the $10 million, 5-year grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. During that time, Dr. Quarles developed and supported economic self-sufficiency, healthy marriages, relationships and parenting skills for up to 500 young adults and at-risk youth in the lower Hudson Valley area.

She is a sought-after keynote speaker, panelist and podcast guest on women in leadership, women’s empowerment, DEI and work and education issues affecting the neurodivergent community.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and traveling.
