Simon Harris Chief Risk & Compliance Officer Simon Harris is Catalight’s Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, supporting all organizations in our family of companies. Simon has over 30+ years of experience in risk and compliance roles. He has held management positions in all three lines of defense in highly regulated industries. He is also a passionate advocate for quality, continuous process improvement and data-driven metrics. Simon began his career in London with a large multi-national financial institution moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1990. In his most recent roles before joining Catalight, he was a Senior Independent Testing & Validation Leader at Wells Fargo. While at Visa as a Leader in their Enterprise Risk organization, he developed and launched their inaugural Risk Control Self-Assessment Program. Simon received his Bachelor of Science (First Class Honors) in Business Administration from the University of Buckingham in the UK. There he received an award for the highest score in his final examinations. In his free time, Simon enjoys giving back to his local community. Having spent 10+ years coaching youth sports, you’ll find Simon on a soccer field refereeing youth soccer games most weekends.
