As the Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Advocate, Tara commits her time and energy to creating equitable system, structures and inclusive spaces for Catalight employees and the communities we serve.
Tara began her career at Google focused on supporting education and equity programs for ministries of education, school systems and top research institutions across the world. In her last role, she supported leaders at Google who were committed to building an equitable and inclusive workplace. Tara’s equity and inclusion framework are currently utilized at hundreds of organizations committed to build psychologically safe spaces for their teams and customers. She has also led a 500+ human effort to provide accessible coaching to underestimated and historically excluded folks through soft skills training and mentorship.
Tara identifies as a cisgender woman of color, product of immigrants, and a human operating with invisible disabilities. Tara uses the pronouns she/her/hers.
