Fran Olson Board of Directors Fran most recently served as Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. She has extensive experience leading commercial organizations that focus on developing therapies and support services for individuals with rare disorders in the neurological and autoimmune areas. She led large multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver support services for positive patient outcomes while achieving strategic business objectives. In her early career, she was a pharmacist working directly with patients and families across a number of disease states, offering personal consulting and recommendations for optimum health. She managed a mail-order pharmacy to support patients’ individual needs in managing complex therapies and adhering to the prescribed therapies. Fran understands the complex needs of individuals living with chronic disorders, many of which begin in early life/childhood. She understands healthcare systems and patient advocacy groups along with the complexities of operating within highly regulated environments.
