The event marked the official release of the latest podcast episode of “What’s Up With Catalight!” featuring Bay Area psychologist Liz Angoff, Ph.D. In the episode, “Highways in the Brain,” Liz spoke with host Lindsey Sneed, Ph.D., to explore the power of neuro-affirming language and supporting children in understanding their unique brains. She joined the launch party to share insights with clinicians from Catalight and Easterseals Northern California, signed copies of her “Brain Building” book, and spent time engaging with attendees. The night was capped off with a live performance from The New Hope Band – a San Jose-based rock group comprised of talented musicians with developmental disabilities. The night led into the full EYI virtual conference on March 13 and 14 for more than 728 people around the world seeking to deepen there understanding of treatments and strategies to expand their practice and further personalize support for those they serve.
