Michelle Befi, MA, LMHC, LMFT, AAMFT Clinical Fellow Senior Vice President, Sustainable Program Design Michelle is a licensed clinician, clinical leader and strategist dedicated to scaling and optimizing high-quality behavioral health programs. As both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), she brings extensive experience across clinical practice, program leadership, and nonprofit strategy. Throughout her career, she has been a driving force behind the clinical and operational success of behavioral health programs. Her expertise lies in building, scaling, and optimizing services that deliver meaningful support to individuals, families, and communities impacted by developmental disabilities. Michelle currently leads Catalight’s Clinical Excellence Shared Services, an initiative designed to unify and elevate clinical standards across the organization. In this role, she collaborates directly with the Catalight Research Institute and Catalight Classroom to translate groundbreaking findings into innovative treatment models. This work ensures that all programs prioritize effectiveness, sustainability, and truly client-centered care. Ultimately, Michelle is driven by one core mission: ensuring that every single client receives meaningful, evidence-based support perfectly tailored to their specific needs.
