To help payers and others understand macro-trends in the field, we have released a new white paper, “Top Trends in Behavioral Health for Payers”. Uncover the seven powerful transformations happening right now shaping autism and developmental disabilities care. A New Publication On Effectiveness Of Parent‑Led ABA Catalight’s Dr. Doreen Samelson, Chief Clinical Officer and Dr. Lindsey Sneed, Vice President of Clinical Excellence, have recently published an important article on the effectiveness of Parent-led Applied Behavior Analysis. The publication, “Effectiveness of Parent-Led Applied Behavior Analysis at Improving Outcomes for Parents of Autistic Children” sought to understand the effect of Parent-Led Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), in comparison to Practitioner-Led Applied Behavior Analysis on parental stress and parental self-efficacy. See how the results further support the efficacy of parent-mediated treatment and underscore the importance of having parents trained and significantly involved in ABA treatment. Catalight Expands Smartwatch Pilot For Youth And Adults With IDD Catalight is pleased to announce our partnership with Awake Labs on a smartwatch-enabled technology pilot program that will include youth and adults in Easterseals Northern California’s parent-mediated and adult day programs. The expanded pilot is designed to assess and measure stress and strong emotions in real time for youth and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD).
