November 2023 Reflections of Gratitude Here at Catalight we have much to be grateful for — the thousands of individuals and families who trust us with their care, our dedicated team members, partners who help us along on our path, and a future that we believe can be more inclusive and honor each person’s unique contributions. Gratitude isn’t seasonal, it is a practice we should embrace every day. As we reflect on what we’re grateful for, we invite you to join us in taking this opportunity to do the same. Helping Families Navigate the Path to Care Catalight is intimately aware of how challenging the path from noticing a delay in your child, to getting a diagnosis, to actually getting treatment can be for families. Our Foundation focuses on creating more equitable access to diagnosis and care for people with autism and developmental disabilities and their families. Equity in Behavioral Health Health equity is the state in which everyone has the opportunity to reach their highest level of health, both physically and mentally. Achieving equity is difficult, however, and faces many barriers. While there are many obstacles that create behavioral health inequities, there are also key ways to make equity a priority. Catalight was recognized as part of a growing network of organizations partnering with the government to improve wellbeing at the state and local levels.
