Gabriela Alvanos Board of Directors Gabriela Alvanos is a success-driven and visionary professional with over 20 years of experience in the Business and Technology field, with expertise in SDLC, disaster recovery, data deduplication, business development, privacy compliance, organizational optimization and community outreach. As part of a family with visible and invisible disabilities, Gabriela understands first-hand the importance of accessibility and inclusion in the community, in education and in the workplace. She is passionate about creating more accessible and inclusive opportunities for everyone. Gabriela Alvanos is now the president and founder of NuPrisma where she works with individuals and organizations to help them lead with purpose, be inspired and to inspire those around them to create lasting impact, driving meaningful strategic growth while fostering diversity, equity and inclusion. Gabriela was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States where she completed high school, earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hofstra University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership from St. Bonaventure University. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has an intermediate proficiency in Italian, Greek and American Sign Language. She lives in Long Island, NY with her husband and two amazing kids. She enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
