
Neil Vangala
Neil Vangala is a private investor with a specific interest in healthcare. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Pine Ridge Holdings and as Co-President of V&G Associates, two private partnerships focused on healthcare investing. Prior to these roles, he was an investment professional at Genstar Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm with total capital commitments of $9B. He also worked in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank in New York.
Neil earned his MBA as a Palmer Scholar from Wharton, where he was awarded the McGowan Fellowship—a merit-based full scholarship awarded to one member of each MBA class. He also graduated from Brown with an AB in Economics.
Neil is passionate about reducing the overall cost of healthcare delivery and improving access to behavioral health resources in at-risk communities. As a teen, he worked as a camp counselor in Autism summer camps. Prior to joining the Catalight Foundation’s™ board he was an active member of One For The World, an organization that encourages philanthropy among young alumni of professional schools.
